This playlist documents an entire year of Gypsy Rose Blanchard's prison phone calls from 2018, organized chronologically so you can follow the conversations and events as they unfolded in real time. Throughout the year, you'll hear Gypsy's conversations with Kristy and Rod Blanchard, Ken Urker, family members, friends, supporters, and others in her life while she was incarcerated at Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri. These calls cover everything from ordinary day-to-day prison life and family updates to relationships, money, media coverage, documentaries, her criminal case, Dee Dee Blanchard, Nicholas Godejohn, future plans, and the public attention surrounding her story. Some calls are uneventful. Others contain details that become much more significant when viewed alongside later interviews, documentaries, public statements, and other records. Rather than focusing only on selected clips, this series is intended to preserve the larger context of the 2018 calls and allow viewers to hear how conversations, relationships, and stories developed throughout the year. The calls are presented chronologically, beginning in January 2018 and continuing through December 2018. Prison call recordings were obtained through a public-records request from the Missouri Department of Corrections and are being shared for commentary, documentation, research, and educational purposes.

In this May 7, 2018 call, Kristy and Gypsy continue discussing the claims Gypsy's roommate had made about Ken. Kristy tells Gypsy that Dawn still has people looking into it and says she received a message claiming they had “found some stuff,” but were still gathering information and planned to provide screenshots. At this point in the call, however, Kristy and Gypsy have not actually seen that evidence themselves. Gypsy asks Kristy to promise that if anything is really found, she'll tell her. Kristy responds: “I'm not gonna lie to you if there is.” She also makes it clear that if the allegations turn out to be true, she intends to protect Gypsy: “I'm not gonna let him freaking hurt you.” “Don’t talk to him about it yet.” This is probably the biggest part of the call. Gypsy asks: “So don't talk to him about it yet, right?” Kristy answers: “Oh, I'm not. He has no clue.” Kristy explains that she had considered confronting Ken about what Gypsy's roommates were saying, but decided against it because: “I don't want to give him time to go delete it.” So at this point, Ken apparently doesn't know they're investigating the allegations. Gypsy isn't convinced by her roommate What's interesting is that Gypsy herself still isn't completely buying what she's being told. She says: “I don't really trust your roommate.” And Gypsy explains that her roommate is difficult to live with and she doesn't understand why the woman keeps focusing on Ken. Gypsy does believe the roommate's husband probably found Ken's Facebook because the roommate knew what his profile picture looked like. But Kristy points out that because Ken's profile was locked down, there wasn't much publicly visible beyond that. This is important because the alleged blog still isn't established as real in this call. They're still trying to find proof. Gypsy thinks LinkedIn is a dating site 😂 There's a funny little moment in the middle of all this. Gypsy: “I thought LinkedIn was a dating website.” Kristy has to explain that it's for professional networking and jobs. That could actually be a funny Short by itself. Kristy puts $200 on Gypsy's account Gypsy originally calls because she wants her monthly money so she can buy the better pair of shoes they discussed previously. During the call, Kristy tells her: “I'mma put 200.” And shortly afterward confirms the money has been sent. That continues the money/support theme we've been seeing throughout these calls. The mystery package still isn't over The suspicious package of homemade food comes up again toward the end. Kristy says she spoke with a former police officer who advised her not to contact the senders herself, but instead bring the entire box to police and let law enforcement determine whether it should be tested. #GypsyRoseBlanchard #GypsyRose #KristyBlanchard #KenUrker #PrisonCalls #PrisonPhoneCalls #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #TrueCrimeYouTube #GypsyRosePrisonCalls #BlanchardCase #TrueCrimeDiscussion #CrimeTok #TrueCrimeTok #TheBlanchardFiles
