We work too much. Like way too much. And I think most of us know it but we just don't say it out loud because what are you gonna do about it. You wake up, you go in, you come home with nothing left. Do it again tomorrow. And somewhere in there you're supposed to have a life. A real one. With people in it and things that matter and time to actually breathe. That's not what's happening though. Work took all of it. The hours, the energy, the health. And the deal was supposed to be that if you put in the time, it pays off. Except the payoff keeps moving. You work harder and things get more expensive and you're still in the same spot. I don't think this is how it was supposed to be. I don't think human beings were built for this.
