We don't need each other anymore. At least that's how it feels.. it's like we all lost the ability to just be around one another. Think about buying something used. Back in the day you'd email someone off Craigslist, maybe go look at it a week later, no rush. Now it's Facebook Marketplace and it's first come first serve. You're driving over to grab something and someone beats you to it and that's it. We don't hold anything for each other. We don't extend anybody a little patience anymore. I think society's slowly breaking down and we don't even notice it. Everyone's got headphones in. Nobody wants to interact. That's just one small piece of it but you see it everywhere. Back in the 90s my family always had people over. Mom's friends, dad's friends, barbeques, people in and out of the house all the time. I just don't see that now. Maybe it's just me. I don't know. There's this lady in the parking lot where I live. I'll pull in to park and I can see her out there, and she'll purposely walk away so she doesn't have to be near me. Then once I'm inside she comes back out. It's fine, I'm not bothered by it. But it seems like that's just how a lot of people are now. I don't know when we all decided we didn't need each other. But it feels like we did. You notice this too? Let me know down below. Subscribe if this hit home. We're all in the same boat here.
