I thought there was more time. That's the thing about putting stuff off. You always figure you'll get to it later. And then sometimes later doesn't come. I've procrastinated on a lot in my life. Big things, small things. I always told myself there'd be time to get around to it. Some of it I did eventually. Some of it I never did. Years ago my grandpa asked me to watch a movie with him. Something simple. And I kept putting it off. Not because I didn't want to. I did. I just figured we'd get to it. There was no rush. He passed away. And I never watched that movie with him. I didn't plan on getting into that when I started filming. It just came out. And it hit me harder than I expected. That's the part nobody warns you about with procrastination. It's not just the bills or the stuff on your list. Sometimes it's the people. The moments. The things that quietly had an expiry date you didn't know about. I don't really have it wrapped up neat.
