Everything feels worse than it used to. Not one big thing. Just a hundred little ones that keep adding up. I bought a pair of shoes the other day with the wrong insoles in them. Went back and the lady straight up argued with me that they were right. Small thing. But it stuck with me because that's how it all feels now. You ask someone to just do the job right and suddenly you're the problem. It's everywhere once you notice it. Go out to eat and you can taste it. Cheap oil, cheap ingredients, corners cut everywhere. Costs the same or more and it's just not as good. I don't feel great after either, honestly. It didn't used to be like that. And it's not just the stuff. It's people. Feels like nobody really wants to help anybody anymore. Everyone's burnt out, nobody's paid enough to care, so they don't. I get it. I'm not even mad at them. But you feel it. I'm not saying I've got it all figured out. I'm not pointing fingers at any one thing. It's just a feeling that's been building. Too many small moments where I go, that's not right, and I move on.
