I'm exhausted by a job I used to love, and I don't really know when that switched. Twelve years in. I liked this work once, back when I was younger and had something to prove. Now it just drains me. I take the whole weekend to recharge and I'm done an hour into Monday. The trap is it pays enough to keep me stuck. Any real change means starting over and taking a big pay cut, so I talk myself back into staying. Again. At some point tired stops being tired and turns into something else.
