On the 162 nd day I continued my adventure in Iran, leaving Isfahan for Shiraz, the 5th largest city in Iran. In the morning, I headed to Saffeh Passenger Terminal to catch the VIP bus which would take the 7 hour journey to Shiraz. The bus ride was comfortable and the view in Iranian countryside along the way was impressive. The bus stopped briefly south of Abadeh for a lunch break before continuing south. We passed the Tomb of Cyrus the Great in the distance before passing through Persepolis towards Shiraz, via the Quran Gate.
