On the 202nd day, I traveled to the Abdali area, the business center of Amman. I heard that the Jordanian government wanted to develop this area into the business hub of the Middle East. First, I visited Abdali Boulevard, an open-air mall surrounded by buildings. The security at the entrance was very tight. I read online that single men are not allowed to enter. Only couples or families are allowed to enter. In Abdali Boulevard, many fine dining restaurants serve international food. I saw a busy Lebanese restaurant. I went to the basement, which connected Abdali Boulevard with Abdali Mall. They were two of the top three malls in Jordan. Inside Abdali Mall are branded goods stores such as Zara and H&M. On the upper floor is a food court, cinema, and game center for children to play. I tried the KFC chicken here. The quality was not worth the price. I missed the delicious KFC in Abu Dhabi. In the evening, I returned to Abdali Boulevard, which was increasingly busy. Then, I went to Pizza Hut for dinner. From the outside, it looked closed because the lights in the dining area were off. However, the restaurant was open. Almost nobody ate here, perhaps because of the boycott. Yet, the taste of the pizza here is very delicious.
