On the 211th day, I walked to enjoy the view of the Giza Pyramids from afar. The charming view compelled me to see it up close immediately. I took a microbus towards the Giza Pyramids and continued on foot. A man in a horse-drawn carriage offered me a ride part of the way. When I arrived, several people offered a horse or camel ride to enter the pyramid complex for only $10, which they claimed included the entrance ticket fee. The entrance ticket alone should be more expensive than that. Either they wanted to cheat me, or they might have special access to bring people in in the afternoon. It was already 4 p.m. The complex was about to close. I did not take their offer because I planned to return another day to visit the Giza Pyramid complex for a full day. I continued walking towards the Egypt Papyrus Institute. The shopkeeper explained the papyrus-making process and the types of paintings sold in his place. I highly recommend this place for shopping or to gather information about Egyptian papyrus.
