On the 190th day, in the afternoon, I finally arrived in Jordan after passing through the Durra Border Post, Saudi Arabia. The immigration process out of Saudi Arabia was smooth. In Jordan, I was taken to the immigration chief's office for a special interview. Indonesian citizens could apply for a Visa on Arrival at the border, but the head of immigration seems eager to ensure that I was not an illegal worker. My tourist visa in Saudi Arabia was requested. After finding out that I had bought a relatively expensive Jordan Pass (tourist pass for most of tourist attractions in Jordan), he became convinced that my purpose in going to Jordan was tourism. I arrived in Aqaba, where from its coast I could see Eilat, Israel at the northern end of the Gulf of Aqaba. In Aqaba there was the famous Aqaba Fort which was captured in the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turks in 1917.
