On the 121st day I visited four embassies to hunt for visas that would allow me to travel westward from Uzbekistan. Originally, I planned to travel to Aktau, Kazakhstan, and cross the Caspian Sea to Baku, Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, the seaport was still closed, citing COVID19 as the reason. However, the rumor was that the seaport and land borders were closed to prevent Russians from flooding into Azerbaijan because of the war in Ukraine. Whatever the reason, the port was closed so to continue my no-airplane-journey, I decided to find other possible routes to travel west, either from Russia, Turkmenistan or Afghanistan. I have obtained my Iran e-visa, so I only needed to find a way to get there by land. Hence, today I visited these four embassies.
