Deep in the holds, loading bays, workshops and transport decks of the Imperium, there is always another crate to move, another chain to pull and another job that needs doing. The Ogryns are tired. Their hands hurt. Their backs hurt. But the work still matters. Heavy load? Good. Dey need us. For these Ogryns, hard work is part of who they are. They know the little uns have their jobs, and they have theirs. They may not understand every order, every destination or every reason behind the endless labor, but they understand that the ship must keep moving, soldiers need their supplies, people need food, and the Emprah has a great many things that need doing. So they pull together. The chant gets lower as the shift gets longer, but it never really stops: Heave ho Here we go Heave ho There is pride in being useful, camaraderie in carrying the same weight together, and a simple certainty that if the load is heavy, somebody must need them.
