THE GREAT ANGEL is an epic Warhammer 40K war hymn about Sanguinius and Angron meeting at the Eternity Gate during the Siege of Terra — one of the most legendary confrontations of the Horus Heresy. Terra is dying. The Imperial Palace is collapsing. The defenders have been pushed back to the final walls. The traitor armies are closing in. And Sanguinius is still standing. THE WARHAMMER STORY During the Siege of Terra, the traitor armies reach the Eternity Gate as the defenders of the Imperial Palace are pushed toward their final stand. After facing the daemon Ka’bandha, Sanguinius confronts Angron himself — his brother, now the Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters. It becomes one of the defining battles of Echoes of Eternity and the Siege of Terra: Sanguinius vs Angron. The Great Angel against the Red Angel. Hope against rage. And for one terrible moment, the armies below see what happens when an angel goes to war.
