An Ork opera about Ghazghkull Thraka, Old Bale Eye, and the unfortunate discovery that Angron got to Commissar Yarrick first. Within the Imperium, however, this is not merely a song. It is a prestigious theatrical production, performed by an entirely human cast before an entirely human audience, recreating the alleged grief, outrage and subsequent intentions of the galaxy’s most infamous Ork warlord. The production is directed by Lord-Director Aurelius Septimus von Ghal-Mordane, Keeper of the Seventeenth Dramaturgical Seal, under its full approved High Gothic title: “The Most Sorrowful and Historically Instructive Lamentation Concerning the Passing of Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, Commonly Styled Old Bale Eye, and the Subsequent Xenos Belligerence Thereupon.” When questioned by critics regarding the production’s unusual musical classification, Lord-Director von Ghal-Mordane responded: “Rock opera, never heard of it. This is ork opera.” Old Bale Eye follows Ghazghkull as he reads the Imperial newspaper The Prophet, works his way through the sports, wars and obituaries, and discovers that his favourite humie is gone. Grief gives way to outrage, outrage gives way to purpose, and eventually one name remains: Angron.
