Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. In Farming Simulator 25, we begin a new adventure on a remote highland farm in Scotland, nestled among the lush green hills near the port town of Kinlaig. After a short tour of the farmyard, it becomes clear that our first priority is animal care. The sheep already have feed, but the cows urgently need fresh food. Fortunately, one of our nearby fields is covered with thick, healthy grass. We attach a mower and a feed trailer to the tractor and head straight to the field. After mowing the first full trailer of grass, we deliver part of it to the cow barn to fill the feeders. The rest is taken to the silo bunker, where we unload it to begin building up a stock of future silage. To secure enough feed for the coming days, we continue mowing grass and transporting each load to the bunker. To prepare the silo properly, we visit the equipment dealer, buy a front loader bucket, and rent a heavy roller for leveling and compacting the green mass. However, to keep working and expanding the farm, we need more money, and our budget is limited. Luckily, several fields are full of ripe grain crops, giving us a chance to boost our income quickly. We prepare the combine harvester, drive to the barley field, and begin the harvest. Once the grain is collected into the trailer, we immediately deliver it to the point of sale, bringing in much-needed funds. After completing the barley harvest, we return to the grass field. With fresh income available, we invest in building a new storage facility for grass, hay, and straw, improving our long-term feed management. We continue mowing and transport grass to two destinations: the silage bunker and the haylage silo. By the end of the day, the farm is developing steadily: the silo bunker is partly filled and covered for fermentation, the hayloft is stocked with grass that will soon dry into hay, and the fields still contain leftover straw, ensuring we have enough feed resources for both cows and sheep. Step by step, our new Scottish farm is growing strong, combining grass work, silage preparation, grain harvesting, and animal care into a productive start in Farming Simulator 25.
