Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. The harvest season continues, and the growing amount of work across our fields is beginning to demand more powerful equipment. We start by finishing the sugar beet harvest in one field before moving the beet harvester and its support vehicles to the next location. While the beet harvesting equipment takes a technical break, we turn our attention to other crops. A hired worker begins lifting the onions, while we prepare for the sunflower harvest. With two sunflower fields ready and our overall harvest volumes increasing, we decide that it is finally time to upgrade our main combine harvester. We take the old combine to the equipment dealer, sell it, and purchase a more capable replacement. We also equip the new combine with a header suitable for harvesting sunflowers and corn before putting it straight to work in the first sunflower field. After harvesting both sunflower fields, we transport the entire crop to the oil mill for processing. With the sunflower harvest complete, we return to the beet harvesting fleet and continue collecting sugar beets from the next fields.
