Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. We begin the day with logistics and construction support. Using the flatbed truck, we visit the stonemason’s workshop and load pallets of finished products. Some of these materials are delivered directly to the restoration sites of the old mill and castle, while the remaining pallets are transported to the point of sale for additional income. The workflow continues at the cannery, where we load finished canned products and sell them as well. The profits from these sales are immediately reinvested into a strategic purchase—a new field of ripe corn. With two cowsheds now operating, silage demand has increased sharply, making this field essential for securing enough feed for livestock production. To handle the operation efficiently, we visit the dealership and purchase a modern forage harvester. The investment nearly empties our budget, so we quickly return to logistics by visiting the fish farms and loading pallets of adult fish for sale. These deliveries generate enough revenue to stabilize finances and allow us to purchase an additional forage trailer. With the harvesting team assembled, two tractors equipped with forage trailers join the forage harvester in the corn field. The combine chops and loads corn chaff continuously, while the trailers transport it to the silage bunker. At the trench, another tractor fitted with a leveler spreads and compacts the material to ensure proper fermentation. Although both the field and silage bunker are relatively small, the operation proves highly productive.
