Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. We begin the day by managing our growing livestock operation. Part of our mature beef herd is transported to our own meat processing plant, while the remaining cattle receive fresh balanced feed to keep production running efficiently. With livestock taken care of, we switch to farm logistics. A flatbed truck heads to the fish farm, where pallets of fully grown fish are loaded and delivered for sale. The profitable delivery gives us a significant cash boost and allows us to continue expanding the farm. Today's main objective is replenishing our hay reserves. Since we recently expanded our sheep operation and balanced feed production depends on a steady hay supply, it's time to organize a complete haymaking convoy. Our main tractor is equipped with a front mower and a rear tedder, allowing it to cut and spread the grass in one operation. Following closely behind is a self-propelled baler fitted with front-mounted rakes that gathers the dried grass and compresses it into round bales. A third tractor equipped with a bale stacker collects the finished bales and transports them away from the field. Working together, the entire team completes the full haymaking process in one continuous workflow—from mowing fresh grass to producing finished hay bales with almost no downtime. The completed bales are immediately distributed across the farm. Some are delivered to the feed mixing plant to keep balanced feed production running, while the remaining bales are stored near the new sheep pens to secure future livestock supplies.
