Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. During a short pause in fieldwork, we continue searching for additional income sources to strengthen our farm’s economy in Farming Simulator 25. The first step is checking the status of our newly purchased stone quarry. Upon arrival, we find pallets of large stones ready in the loading area, which can be sold immediately for profit. We load the stone pallets onto a flatbed platform and transport them to the point of sale, generating quick cash flow. After completing the delivery, we return to the farm and shift focus back to crop care. We equip a tractor with a sprayer and assign a hired worker to fertilize the fields, ensuring optimal crop growth and future yields. At the same time, we discover an opportunity to take on silage harvesting contracts. These contracts are especially valuable because, in addition to payment, we are allowed to keep part of the chaff as compensation. This fits perfectly with our compost production strategy, as the chopped material can be delivered directly to our compost plant. We complete two silage contracts, using our own transport equipment to haul the chaff. While the direct monetary reward from the contracts is relatively small, the real benefit comes from logistics: the receiving bunker at the compost plant is almost completely filled. This sets us up for significant future income through large-scale compost production and sales.
