Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. Today’s episode is all about expansion and delegation. Instead of spending the day working every field ourselves, we assign more and more tasks to hired workers while focusing on growing the farm’s production network. The day begins with field preparation. One worker is sent out with a mulcher to process harvested fields, while another is assigned to spread manure fertilizer. As the soil preparation chain continues, additional workers take over plowing and sowing operations, keeping multiple fields productive at the same time. While the hired workers handle the farm, we focus on logistics and investments. After watering the cows, we load long planks at the sawmill and transport them to our ongoing construction projects, including the new mill and the castle restoration site. During these trips, we continue expanding the business by purchasing two new fields and an additional forest plot. The expansion doesn't stop there. We invest in two entirely new production chains by purchasing another indoor fish farm and a furniture workshop. Fish feed is delivered to the new fish farm, while planks are transported directly to the furniture workshop so production can begin immediately. As more workers take over field operations, we shift our attention to forestry. Lumber reserves are running low, so we transport the wood harvester to the newly acquired forest. Tree harvesting begins, and the logs are loaded onto a timber trailer and delivered directly to the furniture workshop, creating a complete supply chain from forest to finished products. By the end of the day, the farm is running on multiple parallel operations.
