Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. We begin by finishing the onion harvest and transporting the final loads to the vegetable processing plant. With the field cleared, the combine harvester and support equipment are returned to their designated parking areas in the newly built machinery yard, which is quickly becoming the center of farm operations. While harvesting wraps up, field preparation continues across the farm. Several fields have already been worked and are ready for planting, but before starting the next crop cycle, we decide it's time for an equipment upgrade. To fund the investment, we focus on logistics and sales. Finished products from our various production chains are transported and sold, generating the capital needed to replace our old planter with a more advanced model. Once the new planter arrives, planting operations begin immediately. We start with soybeans, move on to sunflowers, and finally establish sugar beets across multiple fields. The upgrade proves worthwhile from the very first hours of operation. The new planter offers much greater flexibility than the previous machine. It can work efficiently on both cultivated fields and fields that have not been prepared with a cultivator, reducing field preparation requirements and increasing overall productivity.
