Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. Today begins with construction logistics. We deliver ropes to the new mill under construction and transport cement to the castle restoration site, ensuring both projects continue progressing toward completion. With the construction sites supplied, we turn our attention back to harvesting. Several fields of wheat, oats, and soybeans have reached maturity, so we start the first phase of separate harvesting. Using the self-propelled mower, we cut the first wheat field into swaths before moving to the next field and assigning a hired worker to continue mowing operations. A rainstorm is forecast, so time becomes critical. We quickly prepare the combine harvester and move it to the first wheat field for threshing. To maximize efficiency, we run a complete harvesting convoy. The combine threshes the grain, a self-propelled baler follows behind collecting and baling straw, a tractor with a bale stacker gathers the finished bales, and another tractor with a transfer trailer moves grain from the combine to waiting trucks. By the time the first field is completed, the hired worker has already finished mowing the second wheat field and moved on to the oat field. We continue threshing wheat before relocating to the freshly mowed oats. However, the weather catches up with us. After only a short time harvesting oats, rain forces the entire operation to stop. Rather than wasting valuable time, we switch to logistics and sales. A flatbed trailer is attached, and we head to the canning factory to collect finished products.
