Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. The beet harvest continues as we finish collecting the remaining red beets and transport every load to the canning plant for processing. Once the red beet field is complete, we move the entire harvesting fleet to a sugar beet field and begin the next major operation. This crop will support a completely new production chain on our farm, so we make a major investment and build our own sugar factory. The field is located a considerable distance from the new factory, making efficient transportation especially important. To keep the harvester moving and reduce delays, we purchase another truck and freight trailer. With two transport units operating between the field and the factory, our sugar beet logistics are beginning to take shape.
