Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. We begin by assigning hired workers to field operations while we focus on livestock management and logistics. The restructuring of our cattle operation continues as we separate dairy and beef breeds. The last dairy calves are transported to the new high-capacity dairy barn, while mature beef cattle—now at the stage where further feeding would reduce profitability—are loaded onto a livestock transport truck. To expand production chains, we purchase a meadow and build a meat processing plant nearby. The selected beef cattle are delivered there, creating a completely new branch of farm production focused on meat processing. Meanwhile, fieldwork continues in parallel. Another hired worker is assigned to sow oats while we switch to sales and transport logistics. A flatbed truck is used to collect and sell products from the stonemason’s workshop, followed by a stop at the sawmill to load pallets of wood chips and planks for sale and construction supply. Next, we switch to a truck with trailers and head to the compost plant, where we sell 200,000 liters of compost, generating the capital needed for a major machinery investment. The next challenge is harvesting a large red beet field. To increase harvesting capacity, we purchase a brand-new combine harvester and transport it directly to the field. Alongside it, we deploy our second harvester and a tractor equipped with a transfer trailer. Hired workers operate both harvesters while we manage logistics, collecting the dug-up beets and loading them into truck trailers for delivery to the canning factory. The field is massive, and the workload is far from finished.
