Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. Today begins with another important delivery for our growing production network. After transporting cornmeal to the selling point, we visit the industrial fish feed factory and load the truck with pallets of freshly produced feed. Reaching our new offshore fish hatcheries requires an unusual logistics operation. Instead of unloading the truck at the harbor, we drive it directly onto a cargo ship and transport the entire vehicle across the water. At each hatchery, a crane unloads the pallets into the designated storage area, allowing us to distribute the fish feed evenly between both facilities. Once the delivery is complete, we return to shore and head back to the farm for the final wheat harvest. The combine works alongside a grain trailer, loader, self-propelled baler, and bale stacker, allowing us to harvest the grain and process the straw in one coordinated operation. The wheat is stored in the granary, while the finished straw bales are transported to a shed. Meanwhile, a hired worker finishes mulching several fields near the cowshed. Their convenient location allows us to use natural fertilizer produced by our livestock. We spread solid manure on one field before moving to another field to apply liquid manure.
