Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. We open this episode by pushing crop yields further. A hired worker is sent out to spray liquid fertilizer across the fields, ensuring the next harvest cycle starts with fully optimized soil conditions. While fertilization is underway, we switch to post-harvest logistics. Using a heavy tractor with a feed trailer, we return to the barley field to collect the remaining straw. Every load is transported directly to the compost plant, turning field residues into a valuable processed product. Once the field is cleared, hired workers are assigned to prepare it for the next sowing stage. With field operations running in parallel, we focus on sales logistics. Compost is sold first to free up storage and generate cash flow. We then purchase a platform, load pallets of barley flour, and deliver them for sale. On the way, we stop by the studio to collect finished clothing products. To maximize profit, we rent a train at the station and transport the clothing to another city, where selling prices are significantly higher. Production doesn’t stop there. We visit the mason’s workshop and load pallets of red tiles and paving stones for delivery. While traveling, we notice a nearby field of ripe onions and decide to invest immediately by purchasing it. After selling the stonemason’s products, we bring a tractor equipped for digging onions and begin harvesting, completing two perimeter passes to prepare the field. At this point, manual gathering is no longer efficient. We return to the dealer and make a major investment in new equipment: a universal combine harvester capable of collecting dug onions, along with a trailer loader. The machinery is delivered to the field, setting the stage for a fully mechanized harvest.
