Sometimes the simplest makeovers make the biggest impact! This Stanley MCM dresser had a dated look, but with its sleek lines and solid construction, I knew it had incredible potential. I wanted to bring it into a modern, natural aesthetic, letting the beauty of the wood shine. I used just about every stripping technique to take it down to bare wood, revealing its stunning grain. A light tan wash added warmth without overpowering the natural tone, and I sealed it with multiple layers of topcoat for a smooth, durable finish. To complete the transformation, I added drawer liners for a refined touch and carefully cleaned and reinstalled the original glass. The result? A clean, neutral look that feels fresh and timeless.
