Currently Playing: Would you repaint a dresser you JUST finished?

A former client fell in love with a blue dresser I refinished, but someone bought it just minutes before she saw it. She was so disappointed, especially because she had recently bought a pair of taupe nightstands from me and thought the blue would be perfect with them. I happened to have another dresser I had just finished, so I offered to repaint it for her. I definitely wouldn’t do this for everyone, but she was a former client and I wanted her to get the dresser she really wanted. So back into the shop it went! I prepped everything again, filled a few more dents and dings (because apparently you find even MORE the second time around 😂), and then it was back into the spray tent for primer, paint and topcoat. I even changed the hardware so it would coordinate with her nightstands. And just like that, this dresser is finished...for the second time. And I have one very happy client!
