This mahogany dresser was not an easy project, but that’s exactly what made it worth saving. When I brought this piece home, it was scratched, worn, and dated. The finish had lost its depth, the base details felt heavy, and the overall look needed something more refined and current. Instead of walking away, I decided to take it on. For this transformation, I completely stripped the top down to bare wood and re-stained it in a rich dark walnut tone to bring back warmth and depth.
