Hey folks, here's how we used visual management to address a simple safety issue in our compressor room. Our large compressors and associated equipment are connected to a grounding bar that runs along the floor. Because the metal bar sits slightly above floor level, it created a potential trip hazard. We added a high-visibility striped safety marking along the bar, making it much easier to see as people move through the area. The physical hazard hasn't disappeared, but its visibility has changed dramatically.
