#leanmanufacturing #continuousimprovement #kaizen Hey folks, here's a look at two small improvements that made our factory easier to manage. The first improvement focused on visual management. Our production trolleys hold up to 40 mats or nets, but operators often had to look inside to identify what was there. We solved this by assigning every trolley a unique number and adding an erasable board showing the model, quantity, and date. Now the information is visible at a glance. The second improvement focused on standardization. As new trolleys were built over the years, the handle positions gradually became inconsistent. We standardized every handle height and added a simple yellow marker to identify the swivel caster side, making each trolley easier to move. Neither improvement was expensive, but together they removed wasted motion, reduced uncertainty, and made the workplace more consistent. 👉 Subscribe for more practical lean improvements and real-world manufacturing ideas.
