#LeanManufacturing #ContinuousImprovement #Kaizen Hey folks, here's a simple improvement from our factory canteen that eliminated several recurring frustrations. Our green food waste bins used to sit directly on the floor. Staff had to bend down to use them, and whenever we cleaned the area, we had to move the bins just to wash underneath. We also used Kaizen corners to mark their correct locations. But because the floor was frequently wet from cleaning, those markers kept coming loose and needed replacing. Rather than maintaining a system that created extra work, our team mounted the bins directly on the wall. Now they're at a more comfortable height, the floor underneath is easy to clean, and the Kaizen corners are no longer necessary.
