The structural steel in our CO₂ storage room had been rusty since we moved into the building. It was a back room that didn't get much attention, and over time we'd simply learned to accept it. One of our team members decided to change that. He removed the rust and refinished the steel with anti-corrosion paint, completely changing the room's feel. But the interesting part came afterwards. Once the environment looked better, people seemed more inclined to keep the entire area clean and maintained.
