This sub-assembly has several angles and dimensions that aren't particularly easy to measure quickly. Manual checks worked, but they were slower and required more skill than we thought. So our team created a simple 3D-printed checking jig with cutouts for the different components and an alignment hole for the bolt. Now we can place the part directly into the jig and quickly determine whether everything is within spec. It's faster and more repeatable, but more importantly, it makes quality easier.
