When we extrude sleeves for our trampoline rods, we mix a specific amount of black or white masterbatch with our PP pellets. Previously, operators used a large plastic scoop to measure the material. It worked, but it created extra handling, occasional spills, and opportunities for dust or other contamination. Our team built two simple enclosed hoppers, one for black and one for white masterbatch. Now the operator can dispense the material directly to the measurement line without all the scooping and handling. They even added visual reorder indicators so it's obvious when material needs to be replenished.
