Its been a cold few days in the Alaskan interior, we took the day to simmer a rich caribou bone broth and pressure can it up for the pantry stores. Nutrient dense + supportive, we sip bone broth weekly and reach for jars whenever we have been working a long time out in the cold. Its a traditional way to use and honor the whole animal, full of vitamins and minerals, collagen and gelatin. We kept the homestead running and made a wild foraged lingonberry dutch baby for lunch + a fresh sourdough loaf to go with dinner (a hearty caribou stew with bone marrow butter topped bread)!
