Last year we got this old truck working after sitting for years. Now, we are coming up on fire season in Alaska and having a tank full of water is never a bad idea- especially way out here. After a little tinkering, we took it down to the creek and filled it up with water and brought it back to the homestead. All the horses have been getting worked and today was Ike's turn, we took a ride around to forage some greens for dinner- a fireweed shoot, moose & fresh egg scramble over the fire.
