This winter 2 of our dairy goats kidded and one more is still to go- we are lucky to have an abundance of milk! We took the day and made batches of chevre (simple goats cheese), yogurt, kefir, and sour cream to stock up on, and kept the homestead running while it cultured on the warm hearth. Dennis made progress on the generator shed roof- a new off grid power system on the homestead that is still in the works.
