Cold nights settling in along the Copper River — and with them, the rhythm of fall. We spent the day bird hunting, checking beaver traps, and night spearing for whitefish under the glow of our headlamps. Dennis even spotted a lone wolf pacing the riverbank — a reminder of just how wild this place still is. Feeling grateful to spend so much time out here, learning the land, living by its seasons, and taking part in this timeless way of life. Moose & spruce hen stew + smoked beaver on the menu!
