We added up how much water we hauled over the winter and it was quite a bit! We have 4 horses, 7 goats, 3 dogs and a family Every drop of water for drinking, washing, and cooking comes from a creek nearby. -50 winter days and all, we haul water year round. The weather is finally warm enough to bust out the old water tank and fill up that way, so we headed to the creek to get it cleaned out and filled up. Soon, we will be changing up our water setup, but in the meantime this makes it much easier! A slow cooked moose hock has been cooking away on the woodstove for the past few days, we enjoyed it for dinner over the fire with some sourdough buns + homemade blueberry mayo.
