We’re coming out of a long, cold winter and finally starting to see some warmer days—time to get back out with the horses. Over the winter, we put together a pack string for hunting, camping, foraging, and reaching places we couldn’t before. The final piece of that string is Ike—young, with only a little time under saddle. This was his first real ride… and we did it bareback. Dennis spent some time in the saddle, and Lena did too. We wrapped up the day the best way we know how—moose burgers, blueberry mayonnaise, and sourdough over the fire. We’re planning a trip this week, so we may or may not have a Wednesday video—but we’ll do our best to get one out for you!
