A beautiful trash to treasure story for this Dixie dresser. From abandoned in a barn to a showstopper! The owner of a large estate found this dresser in a barn when they acquired the property. it continued to sit until it was listed for free on Facebook Marketplace. It sat for weeks and weeks and nobody picked it up. I finally reached out and decided to see if I could bring this back to life. It had been through years of weather and high temps, but amazingly it was still in good shape overall. Good bones I like to say. The drawer guides were perfect, all drawers were square and slid nicely, except the one that was in pieces. The finish and peeling veneer were the main issues, and the broken drawer… After tons of sanding and repairs, new life was given to this vintage beauty.
