In this video, I’m stepping away from retro computing to share the aftermath of a power outage in November 2024, which wreaked havoc on my UPS and RAID systems. This prompted me to overhaul my NAS setup, downsizing without sacrificing functionality while focusing on energy efficiency. Along the way, I found other opportunities to reduce power consumption around the house.
