Thanks to PCBWay: https://pcbway.com/g/ynWgss A workmate’s thesis is trapped on a stack of thirty-something-year-old floppy disks, and that is exactly the kind of rescue mission a KryoFlux is built for. But before I can start recovering the data, there is one problem: my KryoFlux setup is still a chaotic mess of loose cables, adapters, power leads, and floppy drives. So in this episode, I finally tackle a long-planned project: building an open-frame mounting rig for the KryoFlux and its drives, designed for better handling, cleaner cable management, and easier drive swapping. Once the rig is finished, I put it to work on those 30-something year old floppy disks, capturing MFM sector images, and checking what can still be recovered.
