In the later years of the Second World War Saab developed and produced the J.21, an unusual pusher fighter powered by a Benz 605 motor. Although successful, it was immediately overtaken by jet fighters that had appeared in the rest of Europe. The Swedes knew that they needed a jet of their own, but developing one would take time. This led them to wonder - could they put one in the back of their pusher fighter? This video is about the result - the curious Saab J.21R.
