I've spent a LOT of time with SD Gundams. Started building them back in the mid 90s and haven't ever really stopped. I'd argue I've built more SDs than 1/144 and 1/100 scale kits combined even. This book covers the the big genre franchies in Japan- Gundam, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Godzilla. Seeing the art in this book makes me happy. I love the cutesy, squishy, simplified versions of the many classic mechs and monsters. The big bonus is seeing all the line art work for literally the entire casts of some of the old shows represented here. It's amusing that at this point in my life just flipping through I can successfully identify probably 3/4 of all the monsters by name and which Ultra or Rider they fought. The Gundams... well I already knew all of those. A fun flip through if you can find it at the right price.
