Nauvoo is fast becoming a larger city and with it is coming some serious tensions inside and close to Nauvoo. Excommunicated members are starting anti-Mormon publications and Missouri mobs are still trying to find a way to get Joseph Smith back to Missouri. Joseph decides in the midst of all of this tension, the building of the Nauvoo Temple, and being the President of the Church...to run for President of the United States. All this and much more goings on in early 1844.
