In the Bible, the word of wisdom is a spiritual gift. In 1833, the Word of Wisdom becomes a phrase describing a health code of sorts for Latter-day Saints. What are "hot drinks" and why are they no good? Why would I wash my body with "strong drinks"? How do you use tobacco for sick cattle?
