The leaders of the Church decide to consolidate the Saints into one place and close down stakes around the Nauvoo area. The Saints continue to try to get their lands back in Missouri. Brigham Young is told that he can stay home and care for his family. The Saints prepare themselves for a new temple project in Nauvoo as well as a Nauvoo House that intends to host visitors in this Stake of Zion and raise funds to achieve the goals of the Church.
