Smoking an Indonesian "Klembak" Cigarette for the First Time, which is a unique type of product that contains a blend of Tobacco, Clove, Rhubarb, and Frankincense, giving it a very unique incense-like taste and smell. While these are related to Clove / Kreteks, they are different, and only a handful of companies still produce them today. Specifically, in this video, I smoked, and gave a review to, the Sintren Asli Klembak Menyan, which is an unfiltered hand rolled cigarette, which of course, contains Tobacco, Clove, Rhubarb, and Frankincense as the mixture. Sintren is both an Indonesian KLM-exclusive brand and production company, having been first started in 1950 by a husband and wife. From what I can tell, the company may also be one of the last KLM producers, and while they don't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon, it also doesn’t appear like they’ll be growing their sales either. Today, the brand and company appears to be the most well known Menyan nameplate and producer in the country, is run by the second generation of the original family, and currently produces three different KLM brands; the one in this video, Togog, along with Bangjo. The company is currently located in Gombong, a town in Central Java, which is the most populous island in Indonesia, and is actually the most populous island in the world as well.
